hi, my name is elu. i enjoy making and working on sound things. i was born in philadelphia and i’m currently based in cape town. i have a really cool studio and i also have a record label.

my favorite producers are rick rubin, quincey jones and barry gordy. my favorite composers are philip glass, bill conti and wendy carlos. i adore prince, david bowie, fela kuti, alice coltrane and daft punk.

i don’t have a particular style of music that i focus on. it depends on who walks through the door and what they have in mind.

i do tend to be a romantic about things. i like to take my time, enjoy the process and use sound / music as a means to express something significant. i always want the audience / listener to feel something.
